Bringing Alsager Together
There are excellent road links with the A34 to Newcastle-under-Lyme,
Trentham and Stone to the south and the A50 leading to the other constituent
towns of the Congleton, Sandbach, Middlewich and Holmes Chapel.

Alsager has direct connections to the M6 at junctions 16 and 17.
Alsager is situated in the Borough of
Cheshire East, in the south-east corner of
Cheshire near to the Staffordshire border,
handily placed, mid-way between
Crewe and the towns of North Staffordshire.

It has a population of approx. 12,500 and
covers an area of more than 2,000
acres of the Cheshire Plain.

There is a frequent bus service between
Crewe and Hanley with a connection to
Leighton Hospital, Crewe. Alsager
Station has regular trains running between
Derby and Crewe with a direct rail link to
Manchester Airport.

This Year (2010) Alsager won the North
West In Bloom Silver Gilt Award in the
best large town category.
