Alsager Town Council’s personnel committee, service committees and relevant working groups meet over the Autumn months to review and make recommendations on the proposed budget for 2019/20 to the Finance, Policy & Governance Committee.

Alsager Civic & Services Committee will meet on Monday 12th November 2018 to consider the draft budget for Alsager Civic, Alsager Market, the public conveniences, Alsager Allotments and Town Centre services and to either make changes or to recommend the draft budget for 2019/20 to the Finance, Policy & Governance Committee.

The full agenda pack containing the draft budget for Alsager Civic & Alsager Services will be available on the Council’s website from Tuesday 6th November 2018. Members of the public are encouraged to review the document and attend the Committee meeting to speak in public participation on matters of interest within the draft budget.

The Planning, Environment & Community Committee will meet on Tuesday 20th November 2018 to consider the draft budget for Planning & Development Control, Community Safety, Young People and Economic Wellbeing & Tourism and to either make changes or to recommend the draft budget for 2019/20 to the Finance, Policy & Governance Committee.

The full agenda pack containing the draft budget for the Planning, Environment & Community Committee will be available on the Council’s website from Wednesday 14th November 2018.  Members of the public are encouraged to review the document and attend the Committee meeting to speak in public participation on matters of interest within the draft budget.

The Finance Policy and Governance Committee will meet on Tuesday 4th December 2018 to consider the first draft of the consolidated total budget and to either make changes or to recommend the overall budget for 2019/20 to the Town Council.

The draft budget will be available on the Council’s website as a public document and available for inspection at the Council offices from Wednesday 28th November 2018.  Members of the public are encouraged to review the document and attend the Finance, Policy and Governance Committee meeting to speak in public participation on matters of interest within the draft budget.

Following this meeting, the draft budget will be updated to incorporate any changes recommended by the Finance, Policy & Governance Committee, and a revised version will be available on the Council’s website as a public document and available for inspection at the Council offices from Wednesday 5th December 2018.

The Finance, Policy and Governance Committee may take the opportunity to meet for a second time on 8th January 2019 to consider any revisions and to recommend the overall budget for 2019/20 to the Town Council.

On the 15th January 2019 the Town Council will agree the 2019/20 budget, set the level of Precept for 2019/20 and submit to Cheshire East Council.
