Nicola Clarke

Town Clerk

Nicola Clarke works full time as Town Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer. Nicola is the lead officer in advising and overseeing the workings of the Town Council in both its consultative and service provider roles.

Carol Bagnall

Assistant Town Clerk

Carol has worked for the Town Council for 11 years and works 24 hours a week from a Monday to Thursday. Carol is responsible for supporting Nicola in the running of the Town Council and it’s Committees. Carols overseas the administration function of the Council including managing the 2 part time Administration Assistants and is responsible for HR, IT and Communications.

Joanne Melia

Finance Manager

Jo joined the Town Council in 2013 and works 18 hours a week, usually on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Jo is responsible for all aspects of Alsager Town Council and the Institutes finances. This role includes preparation of annual budgets and maintaining the Councils accounts. Joanne provides regular financial management information to the Town Clerk and Town Council. Joanne also prepares the Councils accounts for annual audit and year end. Joanne is supported by a part time Finance Assistant.

Andrea Taylor

Alsager Civic and Institute Manager

Andrea is responsible for the operational management, development and service delivery of Alsager Civic and Institute. Andrea develops a range of activities and events at the Civic to engage with the local community whilst proactively maximising income generation. Andrea works a flexible 28 hour week and is supported by a Civic staff team.

Eddie Attu

Assets Manager
Eddie is responsible for Assets Management of all Council Assets as well as the service delivery of the outdoor market public conveniences and Allotments. Eddie works a flexible 20 hours a week and manages the Markets Assistants.
