Alsager Partnership

Alsager Partnership is an organisation largely funded by Alsager Town Council and Cheshire East Council, with sponsorship for a variety of projects obtained along the way.  The management team is primarily made up of volunteers with one project manager.

With our slogan It’s All About Alsager, we are passionate to deliver projects, community events, initiatives that are aligned to the following four themes; Health & Wellbeing, Culture, Socialising, Creativity & Learning and it is our aim to help Alsager become a vibrant and growing local economy, offering business opportunities, employment and be a chosen destination to visit, live, work and spend leisure time.  We also support other community groups to achieve their aims.

Dementia Friendly Town – This is a long-term project and continues to be a major focus.  To date Alsager Partnership has become a member of Cheshire East’s Dementia Action Alliance and we have committed our energy toward making Alsager a Dementia Friendly Community.  We have a core group of volunteers who meet monthly, all with the same vision to achieve living well with dementia in Alsager.  In October 2017 Alsager became the first town in Cheshire East to be officially recognised by The Alzheimer’s Society as ‘Working to Become Dementia Friendly’.
